Udawalawe National Park: Private Safari at Golden Hours

We booked through a guy on the beach at our hotel (Pandanus) it was half the price of our travel operator and we like to give back to the locals. What a day we had here. Whilst I appreciate this can be hit and miss with animals in the wild. We had a spectacular experience with a baby elephant stopping and putting his trunk in our jeep and touching us and allowing us to stroke him. Memories to last a lifetime.

We saw a lot of different animals and heaps of elefants. Our guide gave us interesting informations about the animals and took us places the other safaris didn’t go to. We had an amazing time and would dearly recommend this safari.

Nice experience but it’s limited to elephants and birds watching. We’re expecting to see more animals like Leopards or crocodiles!

Prasad our driver was amazing. We saw many elephants and he was very knowledgeable !!!!! Ask for Prasad as your driver you will not be disappointed.

Prasad and the driver was very helpful Unfortunately ,due to drought we couldnt see many animals. We will use Viator next time too

Our guide was an amazing tour guide and driver. He was early to pick us up in the afternoon for our tour and very friendly. He had extensive knowledge of the park and all its wildlife, stopping wherever he saw something that to the untrained eye would be impossible!

While We stayed in Shangri La Hambantota we used their services. Vehicles and drivers are top notch. Highly recommended the tour.
